Cheers & Jeers: Parker Posey Wilts about the Large C

Parker Posey Jeers towards the Large C for offering the worst in Parker Posey. Want more Cheers & Jeers? Sign up for TV Guide Magazine now! In the second season, Showtime's cancer-designed comedy has accepted its strongly cool side, much to its hindrance. The by divine intention Emmy-nominated Laura Linney can't keep your show grounded the truth is any longer. And Also The Large C only got more irritatingly twee with the help of indie-film curio Posey as Poppy P. Kowalski (even her title, an in-joke about the actress' own floral moniker in addition to her Superman Returns henchwoman Cat Kowalski, is annoying). Poppy creepily meets Linney's teenage boy, Adam (Gabriel Basso), inside a Youngsters with Cancer chatroom and proceeds to accompany him towards the funeral of his uncle's miscarriage. (Don't request.) How can we know Poppy is really a free spirit? She wears a knit cap! And drives an AMC Pacer! And screams "I do not come with an inside voice!" in the center of a café! The episode's clichéd moral was "Don't delay the happy," but when this series keeps Posey around considerably longer, the happy may not you need to be postponed - it may be Cancelled having a Large C.
